Daniel Robalino focuses on antitrust and regulatory economic law matters, cross-border transaction with emphasis in M&A, as well as on foreign investment planning, reorganisations, corporate governance, private equity transactions, financing and arbitration.
He advises multinationals, funds and foreign companies operating in Ecuador, as well as local and Latin-American companies expanding their business within the country or regionally. He has niche expertise in antitrust and regulatory economic law matters.
Daniel is a founding member and current Executive Director of the Ecuadorian Institute of Competition Law. Before joining Ferrere, he worked for one of Ecuador’s top law firms, where he directed the economic law practice. His market knowledge has gained him a permanent seat in the board of renowned corporations.
Daniel holds an LLM from Northwestern University, Pritzker School of Law (Chicago) and has postgraduate diplomas in antitrust law and practice from the College of Law of England and Wales, as well as an MBA Certificate from IE Business School (Madrid). JD from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
