Romulo Roux heads the corporate law practice group.
Mr Roux has over 20 years of experience advising both domestic and international companies, multinational corporations, banking and financial entities, governmental entities and private investors in a broad range of matters. Under his supervision, the firm has advised clients regarding management of complex transactions including operations abroad. He has acted as representative for projects financing, as well as many banking and telecommunications transactions, representing institutions involved in the country's most important projects such as the Panama Canal Expansion.
In the public sector, Mr Roux has served as Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President of the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal, Ministry of the Panama Canal Affairs and President of the Panama Water Authority Committee.
Mr Roux obtained a BSc in marketing (cum laude) at the Babson College, in Boston, Massachusetts; a JD (Ccum laude) at the University of Miami, Florida; and an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at the Northwestern University of Illinois.
