Biography
Octavio Bofill is a founding partner at BMAJ and co-head of the firm’s corporate practice area.
He specialises in advising national and international clients on domestic and cross-border transactions, particularly in matters related to complex structured financing, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.
He has significant expertise across a range of industries, including banking, finance, life insurance, industrial, real estate, retail and telecommunications.
Octavio is arbitrator at the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Government’s panel of arbitrators for the development of Concession Contracts at the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), and a member of the legal committee at ICARE.
Octavio has been a professor of civil law at the University of Chile for over 20 years.
