Daniel Gonzales is partner from our M&A and bankruptcy and restructuring and finance practice areas. He is a graduate lawyer, magna cum laude, from Pontificia Catholic University of Peru. He holds a master’s degree in law (LLM) from the University of Chicago. He also holds a certificate in energy law from PUCP, and a certificate in M&A from Georgetown University Law Center. Daniel’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financing, securities transactions and bankruptcy and insolvency.
He was an international associate at the New York office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP (2013–2014), where he focused his practice on domestic and foreign mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions.
He was an assistant professor of secured transactions at University of Lima, and an assistant professor of commercial law at Pontificia Catholic University of Peru.
