Daniel Del Rio is partner and head of the M&A practice of Basham, Ringe y Correa in Mexico. His areas of professional practice are: corporate, M&A, foreign investment, financial transactions, joint ventures, real estate, antitrust, banking securities and insurance.
He graduated from the Universidad la Salle and was admitted to practise in Mexico in 1980. Postgraduate studies: master's in business administration (MBA) from Tulane University.
Counsel of the International Bar Association (IBA), and director of various companies in Mexico.
He is the author of various articles and publications on mergers and acquisitions, e-commerce, real estate and corporate governance.
He is the president of the Mexican Bar Foundation, as well as the president of the Mexican Chapter of Los Amigos de Juan Pablo, a member of the IBA Trust Foundation Board and general director of the Basham, Ringe y Correa Foundation.
