Among some of his recent deals, he led the legal team that advised the purchasers (Goldman Sachs, Klaff Realty and Uruguayan investors) in the landmark acquisition of supermarket chain Tienda Inglesa; he provided legal advice for the acquisition of the Créditos de la Casa (financial entity) by Banco Santander, Spain, and in the acquisition of Melowind by Atlántica Yield; and he has extensive experience in other acquisitions, project financings and capital markets issuances.
Currently, he develops his practice as a legal counsel of Banco Santander and as a member of the management committee of this entity. He is also a member of the board of directors of Uruwood, a subsidiary of forestry company UPM Uruguay.
