Pedro has over 20 years of experience advising clients on corporate/M&A and tax matters and is very well known for his interdisciplinary knowledge and his tax and accounting skills, which provides clients with a 360-degree vision in high-value M&A transactions, as well as for the structuring of financial and private equity investments. Pedro provides additional expertise in arbitrations and corporate disputes.
He worked as a professor of financial law for undergraduate and graduate degree programmes at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) (2001–2004), tax law professor for the MBA in economic and business law programme at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) (2000–2003) and professor for the LLM in corporate law and capital markets at IBMEC/RJ (2011).
Member of the Rio de Janeiro chapter of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) Arbitration Commission.
