Cristóbal Eyzaguirre specialises in corporate, banking and financing matters, mergers and acquisitions, syndicated loans, capital markets, project financing, debt restructuring, bankruptcy, private equity investments, antitrust and commercial arbitration and litigation.
From 1997 through 2003, he served in various senior positions at Citigroup. Previously, he was with Shearman & Sterling, New York, 1994–1995.
He was a member of the board of directors of the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade, Tucson, Arizona, 2002–2003, and chairman of the Law School Association of Pontificia Catholic University of Chile 1990.
He is professor of the master’s in business law at Los Andes University Law School and of Civil Law at Pontificia Catholic University of Chile Law School. Previously he was professor of Master in Business Law at Pontificia Catholic University of Chile Law School and at University Adolfo Ibáñez Law School.
He joined Claro & Cia in 1988, and has been a partner since 2004.
