Paulo has more than 20 years of experience, heads the firm's M&A department and represents major multinationals such as Itochu, Legrand and the world’s leading pulp maker, Fibria Celulose SA. His highlights include the sale of Fibria's forestry assets to Parkia in a 1.6 billion reais transaction.
He holds an LLM in corporation law from New York University and worked for two years at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.
Paulo is the author of several published articles on corporate law and he is currently the chair-elect and member of the board of directors of Lex Mundi.
Memberships: International Bar Association, Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce and the Working Group on Legal Opinions of the American Bar Association.
