Paulo has more than 20 years of experience, heads the firm's M&A department and represents major multinationals such as Itochu, Legrand, and the world’s leading pulp maker, Fibria Celulose SA. His recent highlights include the sale of Fibria's forestry assets to Parkia in a 1.6 billion reais transaction.
He holds an LLM in corporation law from New York University and worked for two years at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.
Paulo is the author of several published articles on corporate law and he is currently the chair-elect and member of the board of directors of Lex Mundi.
Memberships: International Bar Association, Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce and the Working Group on Legal Opinions of the American Bar Association.
