Giuliano Colombo is a partner at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, and focuses on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy-related matters. He advises debtors, creditors and creditors’ committees in judicial reorganisations, prepackaged reorganisations and out-of-court restructurings; debt recovery; purchasers and investors in distressed companies and/or assets; bankruptcy financing matters; bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He has an LLB from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and an LLM in financial and capital markets law from INSPER, a leading business and law school in São Paulo. He worked as a foreign associate in the corporate restructuring department at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, in New York (2007/2008). He was a member of the Interministerial Committee that drafted the Brazilian Bankruptcy Law. He is a visiting professor at INSPER and FIA schools. He has written several articles and chapters of books related to Brazilian Bankruptcy Law. He is constantly recommended by various publications in the bankruptcy/restructuring practices. Colombo is fluent in Portuguese and English.
