Sergio has extensive experience advising on corporate (M&A), banking, capital markets, insurance and project finance matters.
Graduated from the University of Lima with further studies in corporate finance at University ESAN. He also holds a master’s degree (LLM) in commercial law from Georgetown University Law Center.
He has worked at the Non-Sovereign Guaranteed Operations Division of the Inter-American Development Bank.
Sergio is member of the board of directors of various companies, particularly companies supervised by the Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Funds Superintendency and the Securities Market Superintendency. Additionally, he is a registered arbitrator of the Securities Market Superintendence, Lima Chamber of Commerce and Pontificia Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).
In addition to his professional practice, Sergio is a professor at the University of Lima (LLM in business law) and at PUCP (LLM in banking and finance law), among others.
