Javier Petrantonio is the managing partner of the firm. He heads the firm's Litigation practice and co-heads the Mergers & Acquisitions department.

He is specialised in acquisitions and has taken part in several transactions representing multinational companies that invested in Argentina. He has also assisted local companies in corporate reorganisations, merger procedures, joint ventures and transfers of going concerns.

Mr Petrantonio has also been deeply involved in complex commercial arbitration proceedings at local (Buenos Aires Stock Exchange Arbitration Tribunal) and international arbitration tribunals (LCIA, ICC). Also, he represents clients in judicial litigation resulting from conflicts in the interpretation of shareholders’ agreements and price adjustment procedures in share purchase agreements of various M&A transactions.

He graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1990 and received an LLM in international commercial law from Nottingham University, in 1994.
