Ximena Robles Miaja's practice has been centred on the areas of corporate law, mercantile law, finance, mergers and acquisitions, banking, securities and corporate finance, as well as in the advice in connection with the authorisation, incorporation, regulation and supervision of financial institutions in Mexico.
Ximena Robles Miaja obtained her law degree in Mexico City from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in 2003. She also obtained her master’s degree (LLM) from the University of Texas in Austin in 2005.
Ms Robles participated in the programme of international associates of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP in its New York office from 2005 to 2006. Before joining the firm, she was vice president (legal) at JP Morgan in Mexico from 2008 to 2013 and legal associate at América Móvil, SAB de CV. She was also a member of the board of directors of JP Morgan entities in Mexico.
Ms Robles is fluent in English and French.
