Among some of his recent deals, he led the legal team that advised the purchasers (Goldman Sachs, Klaff Realty and Uruguayan investors) in the landmark acquisition of supermarket chain Tienda Inglesa; he provided legal advice for the acquisition of the Créditos de la Casa (financial entity) by Banco Santander, Spain; in the acquisition of Melowind by Atlántica Yield; and he has extensive experience in other acquisitions, project financings and capital markets issuances.
Currently a member of the National Credit Companies Association. Member of the board of directors of financial companies of Santander Group in Uruguay, where he participates as member of the Audit Committee, as well as member of the board of directors of Uruwood, a subsidiary of forestry company UPM Uruguay.
