Felipe Galea is a partner in BMA’s civil litigation and arbitration group, and is one of the leaders of BMA’s bankruptcy, business reorganisation and insolvency practice. He has extensive experience representing both national and international clients in business litigation throughout Brazil, particularly large investment funds and multinationals doing business in the entertainment, automotive, publishing, real estate and construction, and agribusiness sectors.
He is involved in some of the most important business reorganisation proceedings in Brazil, and his work includes advising investors interested in acquiring distressed assets. He also has notable experience in collective actions involving consumer and other group rights.
Felipe is a member of BMA’s pro bono committee, and together with the other partners on the committee he helps direct the firm’s incentives for cultural, educational and entrepreneurial projects that will contribute to Brazil’s development.
