Education: Pontificia Catholic University of Peru Law School (1990), Yale University (LLM) (1993), Fulbright scholarship (1992) and Ford Foundation Scholarship (International Arbitration Research) (1993). Mr Rodrigo-Prado has been head partner at Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano since 2011. He chairs the Mining Committee of the International Bar Association and is former trustee at large of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (2007–2010). Member of the Legal Mining Committee at the National Mining, Petroleum and Energy Society (since 1994). Professor in Mining and Energy Law at the Pontificia Catholic University of Peru (since 2007) and at the Universidad del Pacífico (since 2012). Adjunct professor at the Law School of the University of Denver (2008). Past president of the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce (2008–2012), vice-president of the Latin American Mining Lawyers Association (since 1999) and member of the Mining Law Consultation Committee of the Lima Bar Association (since 2000).
