Raphael has extensive experience advising Brazilian and foreign companies on (i) civil, contract, commercial, corporate litigation and arbitration related to public and private companies and limited liability companies; and (ii) restructuring with focus on the representation of creditors in debt restructurings, and of investors in the acquisition of assets in the context of insolvency proceedings. He has published articles on restructuring and insolvency, arbitration and corporate litigation and has acted as speaker in seminars on corporate litigation and restructuring and insolvency. He obtained his law degree from the University of São Paulo and his LLM from Columbia University. Prior to his entry, Raphael was an international associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, in New York.
