Ricardo Indacochea is the founding partner of IA and has directed the firm since 1991. He develops a key role in issues related to the commercial, hydrocarbons and project financing areas thanks to the recognitions granted that qualify it as leading legal adviser.
He currently works as the main adviser to leading companies in the different sectors of the country, as well as internationally recognised multinationals in matters that require sound advice in projects and transactions with a high profile and complexity.
Ricardo has gained respect as a leading legal adviser prompting invitations to speak at several international conferences and congresses by prestigious institutions such as the IBA, the International Law Institute and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
Graduated from the Universidad Catolica del Peru (JD, summa cum laude, 1975), New York University (master’s in comparative jurisprudence, 1977), master’s degree in business administration (MBA, 2013) from Adolfo Ibañez (Miami, Florida), Universidad de Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) and Europe International Business School (Beijing, China).
