Master’s degree in business law from University of Lima; JD degree from Catholic University of Peru, 1994.

Mrs Liu leads the tax and customs department. She joined the firm in 2003, after 10 years with Hernández & Cía, and was made partner in 2006.

She has extensive experience advising on tax matters in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and financings. She also represents clients in high-level tax controversies.

She is a professor of tax law in graduate and master programmes at the Catholic University, and a lecturer in training courses for officers of the Peruvian Tax Administration, Tax Court and the Judiciary.

Member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law, the International Fiscal Association, and the Women in the Profession Peru’s Steering Committee, organised under the initiative of the Cyrus Vance Center for International Justice. She also leads the tax committee of Procapitales.

Languages: Spanish and English.
