Mr Amado’s practice focuses on general corporate law and international arbitration. He combines professional work with academic engagements most recently as visiting scholar (2013) and visiting fellow (2014) at the University of Cambridge.
From 2015 to 2016, Mr Amado was a member of the Lima Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Court. Mr Amado served as deputy to the Prime Minister of Peru (2000–2002) and was named Leader of the Year by Latin Lawyer (2009).
He received his JD from the Catholic University and an LLM from Harvard. He serves on boards of listed companies in Peru and abroad, as well as in academic and non-profit organisations.
