Felipe Cousiño leads the firm’s insurance, capital markets and investment funds practices, which covers international financial services, including registered and alternative asset managers, investment banks, brokerage houses, insurance companies and credit rating agencies. His advice covers the regulatory aspects of raising capital from Chilean investors (including institutional investors such as pension funds and insurance companies), whether by means of private placements or registrations for public offer, as well as the structuring of investments in Chilean assets, whether in registered securities or in alternative assets relating to renewable energy. His practice has also focused on mergers and acquisitions and competition law. He is an arbitrator of the Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago).
