Managing partner of Arias Panama office, with over 30 years of practising law. Siaska has broad experience in labour law, telecommunications, energy and infrastructure, concessions and, public bids, as well as administrative law. She has participated in corporate matters advising local and multinational companies.
Among her experience prior to joining Arias, she drafted the first Telecommunications Law in the Republic of Panama and its Regulation. From 2005 to 2009 she was the first woman appointed editor-in-chief, running the mayor newspaper in Panama, La Prensa. After her path directing the newsroom, she went back to her private practice, joining Arias in 2011.
She has a master’s degree from Harvard University (1988 LLM) and a bachelor’s degree in law and political science (summa cum laude) from USMA (Panama,1987).
Siaska serves as neutral arbitrator for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association (AAA-ICDR) and Hearing Officer for National Arbitration & Mediation (USA-NAM).
