Valeria is one of the two partners heading the environmental practice group at our law firm. She is a lawyer graduated from the University of Chile who has focused her practice on the environmental field since 2000 to date. She has worked mainly in the private sector, working at renowned law firms by advising both domestic and foreign clients.
She has also participated in the development of important environmental projects intervening from its genesis to its realisation. She has a vast experience in those issues involving the system of environmental impact assessment, obtaining permits, administrative and judicial environmental litigations. She has also developed studies regarding environmental contingency issues.
In addition, she has done academic work at the University of Chile and has published a citizen’s participation handbook.
