Partner who co-leads Guerrero Olivos’ energy and natural resources group and part of our water law, environmental and project finance groups. He focuses his practice in energy, infrastructure and environmental law, especially in connection with energy project development and construction. He renders legal advice to local and international clients in different areas such as energy, water law, mining and real estate, in both permitting and monitoring processes.
Sebastián graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile School of Law and was admitted to the practice in Chile in 2008. He has an LLM from Georgetown University, Washington DC (2010). He studied at the Academy of American and International Law of Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law, Texas, USA (2010).
In 2010, he was a foreign associate at Jackson Walker LLP, Texas, USA. He was general co-secretary of Academy of American and International Law Alumni Association, and currently he is vice president of APEMEC AG. He is also professor in environmental law at the Urban Studies Institute and professor in environmental law in the Real Estate Law and Business Diploma, both from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile School of Law.
