Gerardo Cruzat has been a partner at Prieto since 2016. He joined the firm in 2012.
He leads the banking and finance practice of our firm counting also with extensive experience in corporate and capital markets matters permanently participating and counselling both domestic and international clients in merger and acquisition transactions and reorganisations.
He earned his law degree from the Pontificia Catholic University of Chile finishing his studies on 2002. He has a postgraduate degree from the University of Duke, Durham, NC (LLM, 2008).
Before joining Prieto, he worked as an associate at Phillippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner, as a foreign lawyer at Uria Menéndez, Madrid, Spain between 2006 and 2007 and as a foreign lawyer at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP, New York, USA between 2008 and 2009).
