Founding Partner Mr Morales represents principals in major corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions; equity capital markets transactions, international corporate debt restructurings, public and private securities issuances and debt emissions.

He has extensive experience advising investment banks and companies in the structuring, negotiation and execution of complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, debt issuances and corporate restructurings, especially in the industry-sectors of power, financial services, retail and energy.

Mr. Morales read law at the Universidad de Chile Law Faculty. In 1985 he obtained a LCJS degree, graduated magna cum laude and was admitted to the Chilean Bar. In 1986, he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue graduate studies in the US and graduated with an LLM degree from The University of Chicago Law School in 1987. During 1987-1988, Mr Morales practiced as a foreign associate with White & Case LLP in New York. In 1992 Mr Morales founded the firm and in 1997 was appointed Honorary Legal Adviser to the British Ambassador in Santiago.
