Born Mexico City. Admitted 1993, Mexico. Educated at Universidad Iberoamericana (JD). He joined Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez in 1989. Mr García is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and his practice focuses on antitrust and competition and mergers and acquisitions. He actively participates in all types of cases before the competition authorities, from complex pre-merger filings, to investigations, administrative procedures, constitutional (amparo) proceedings as well as leniency applications. Mr García regularly advises multinationals and private equity investors on acquisitions and investments in Mexico across multiple industries. He has participated in some of the most relevant and sophisticated cases before the antitrust authorities He has been extensively published.
