José Jiménez Chocano is a partner at the firm. He graduated in law from the Santa María Catholic University (Arequipa), holds a master’s degree in corporate reorganisation, insolvency and corporate finance from the University of Toronto, a master’s degree with specialisation in corporate law from the Lima University, a degree in tax law from the Lima University, and a degree in corporate management and business organisation from the Escuela de Administración de Negocios. He also graduated from the Master in Corporate Law from the Lima University. His areas of expertise include bankruptcy, commercial law and corporate finance. He is a former teacher of Bankruptcy Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and of Corporate Finance at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas Business School.
He is an alternate member of the Licence Concessions Commission of the Peruvian Football Federation. He is a former senior associate and member of the banking, finance and corporate reorganisation areas of Benites, De las Casas, Forno & Ugaz Abogados.
