Francisco A Macías has been a partner at Marval, O’Farrell & Marval since 2002, and specialises in oil and gas, power, public services, infrastructure, natural resources, environmental law and protection of foreign investment.
His practice is mainly focused on international and local oil and gas, infrastructure and power transactions. He also advises clients on gas and power regulatory matters and a wide range of oil and gas and power contracts.
He obtained a postgraduate degree in international and EC law from the School of Law of the University of Siena, Italy, in 1993. In 1992 he obtained a postgraduate degree in international operations from the National Foreign Office Institute of Argentina.
He lectured on international public law at Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina Law School from 1994 to 1996.
