Daniel Kuri Breña received his law degree with honours from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City and an LLM from Columbia University in New York.
He is a founding partner of Kuri Breña, Sánchez Ugarte y Aznar, SC. During his professional experience, Mr Kuri Breña has managed the acquisition of major companies and banks. He has also advised international funds investing in Mexican companies.
His practice includes the issuance of debt and equity securities of Mexican companies in the Mexican and international markets, cross-border financings and debt restructurings of large Mexican corporations. He designed the first securitisation of trade receivables in Mexico and regularly works on the securitisation of all types of assets. He is also frequently involved in antitrust matters as they relate to mergers and acquisitions.
