Sáenz & Asociados was founded in 1979 by brothers Humberto Sáenz-Cevallos and Mario Enrique Sáenz. The firm specialises in providing legal and financial counsel to national and international companies in different areas such as commercial law, corporate law, banking law, franchising, merges and acquisitions, intellectual property, administrative law, public and private bids, taxation, constitutional law, competition law, investments and international trades.

Some of its members have been part of the Judicial Branch, occupying important positions in the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice. The President of the law firm is a former Justice of the Administrative Chamber of the Salvadorian Supreme Court of Justice. Other members are presently representing important banks in El Salvador and have been accredited as arbitrators by the Salvadorian Chamber of Commerce.
