There are nine law firms in the Costa Rican chapter of the Latin Lawyer 250, making it the largest in the Central American section. Costa Rica is also home to some of the biggest firms in the region. BLP (Costa Rica) has 86 lawyers, while Consortium Legal (Costa Rica) has a headcount of 80, more than double their counterparts in the other four countries. The country’s strong business community and political stability have enabled law firms to grow and deepen their specialisations.
