Mexico launches new Business Integrity Registry
In a move to crack down on corruption in government contracts, Mexico’s Ministry of Public Administration (SFP) has launched the Business Integrity Registry, a registry of companies identified as safe to do business with. However, local lawyers have questioned the lack of clarity surrounding the selection criteria and say GCs must set their own standards to make up for the gaps left by the initiative.
