Lawyers discuss Brazil’s landmark pension reform
Brazil’s Senate passed the final amendments to a much-debated pension reform at the end of 2019 that aims to totally overhaul the country’s social security system by raising the retirement age and increasing workers’ pension contributions. While the reform has been criticised by unions, GCs suggest the move may provide a much-needed boost to the country’s business environment.
