Over the past few years, Mexico's government has put tackling corruption high on its agenda with a flurry of new legislation aimed at increasing the accountability of government ministries. LACCA caught up with Alejandro Galván Illanes, head of transparency at the secretariat of the interior in Mexico City, to find out what steps he has taken to boost transparency and discuss what more needs to be done.
