Miner promises appeal for jailed legal rep and argues against Canadian proceedings in shooting case
Canadian mining company Tahoe Resources has said it will appeal the court-ordered confinement of an unnamed employee, described as a “legal representative” in charge of regulatory and environmental issues at its Guatemalan subsidiary Minera San Rafael (MSR), pending the investigation of a 2012 environmental claim.
