Chile’s proposed four-year mining plan will boost investment, say lawyers

Lawyers in Chile have welcomed newly elected President Miguel Juan Sebastián Piñera’s plans to boost the mining industry, which include measures to attract and promote foreign investment and the creation of a new mining project management office to expedite processes for companies and improve efficiency.
