Buoyant mood at Mexico LACCA meeting
LACCA’s recent Mexico meeting sounded a much more positive note than last year, with growing confidence about the country’s economic prospects following the elections.Delegates were encouraged by the clarity the electoral process had brought and by the peaceful nature of the transition. Expectations were also high that long-awaited reforms in the oil and energy sectors would finally be delivered, along with liberalisation in the telecom sector.
