As Brazil prepares to host both the FIFA World Cup and Olympics, new opportunities are emerging in the country’s hospitality sector. The Latin America legal coordinator at French hotels group Accor explains how her company has seized the moment.Two imminent sporting events of worldwide importance no doubt make Brazil’s government ministers feel both optimistic and anxious: the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics and Paralympics are bringing investment and development to the country but Brazil's tourism infrastructure still needs work – especially on airports, sea ports and the provision of enough hotel space to accommodate the expected influx of visitors.
