Italian energy company acquires stake in Camuzzi Group
ENEL has acquired 40 per cent of the Camuzzi Group from its controlling shareholder, the Rotterdam-based holding company Mill-Hill. ENEL - 69 per cent owned by the Italian state - is both a generator and distributor of electricity and a telecommunications group. The Camuzzi Group is one of the largest privately-owned Italian companies engaged in the provision of public utilities in Italy and Argentina.
