Eight firms steer wind farm project finance in Mexico
US-based firms Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP; Mexico’s Ritch, Mueller, Heather y Nicolau, SC, González Calvillo, SC and Woodhouse Lorente Ludlow; and Cayman firm Walkers have helped a renewables joint venture composed of Anglo-American private equity group First Reserve and Mexico Power obtain project finance worth US$215 million for a 130-megawatt windfarm.
