Latin Lawyer’s M&A volume and value league tables are based on Latin Lawyer’s daily online briefing coverage of transactions in Latin America’s biggest economies.
Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal tops Latin Lawyer’s M&A volume league table for the second year running in Argentina, while Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites, Arntsen & Martínez de Hoz (h) has taken the top spot in the value table.
For the second year running, Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados and Pinheiro Neto Advogados have taken the top two positions in Latin Lawyer’s value and volume M&A league tables for Brazil, with Mattos Filho taking the winning spot in both.
Carey featured in the largest number of Chilean deals reported on by Latin Lawyer in 2013 and also sits at the top of the value M&A league tables – taking both leading spots for the second year running.
Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta Abogados has retained its title as the leader in Latin Lawyer’s M&A volume league tables for Colombia, also landing the top spot when measured by value this year.
Galicia Abogados presides at the top of Mexico’s M&A league tables for volume and value in 2013, with Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez SC coming second in terms of volume and Baker & McKenzie (Mexico) and Von Wobeser y Sierra SC sharing second place on the value front.
Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados, Miranda & Amado Abogados and Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas Abogados Financieros all appeared in the top three volume and value M&A league tables for Peru.
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP has topped Latin Lawyer’s M&A league tables by volume, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP took first place measured by value, while Sullivan & Cromwell LLP came second in both and Linklaters took third place in each table.
