Additionally, he has solid experience in assisting companies in the various activities of the business cycle (from establishing a company to operating it as well as its termination). He has counselled companies in important corporate and M&A deals and transactions. Additionally, he has advised multinational companies on labour matters during complex and complicated negotiations with the Mexican government authorities, labour unions and employees including high-level expatriates.

Javier’s experience in labour, immigration and social security matters have seen him work with billion-dollar corporations. He is an expert in major business decisions regarding individual and collective bargaining, negotiation with government and labour unions and the closing of factories and companies as well as their subsidiaries.
He obtained his law degree (JD equivalent) from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) in Mexico City in 1982.
