Chinese power company State Grid has relied on Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in Beijing and Claro y Cía in Santiago to complete its 2.6 billion euros (US$3 billion) acquisition of Spanish counterpart Naturgy’s stake in Chilean transmission group Compañía General de Electricidad (CGE).

Teskid Iron do Brasil, a subsidiary of automotive manufacturer Stellantis, has turned to Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados to sell its Brazilian and Portuguese iron foundry businesses for 67.5 million euros (US$80 million) to local metal components maker Tupy.
