Stonepeak gets antitrust approval in Peru for global tech buy

Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas has helped US private equity group Stonepeak obtain approval from Peru’s antitrust authority – INDECOPI – for its acquisition of CenturyLink Perú, which is part of its US$2.7 billion acquisition of Lumen Technologies’ Latin American business.

France's Vinci buys LatAm assets in US$6.2 billion energy tie-up

Construction company Vinci has enlisted Cuatrecasas offices in Spain, Chile, Mexico and Peru and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Paris to finalise its joint venture with Spanish counterpart ACS in a deal worth up to 5.5 billion euros (US$6.2 billion), handing the French buyer several Latin American energy projects.
