HpG, solely owned by Webforce, ranked as the fourth biggest site in Brazil. As a result of the acquisition iG Group is now second in terms of receiving hits from unique visitors in Brazil, according to Ibope eRatings. iG Group was advised by the Brazilian law firm Ulhôa, Canto, Rezende e Guerra - Advogados.
US power company PSEG has closed its US$ 432 million purchase of approximately 94 per cent of Chilean distributor Saesa from the Chilean forestry, fishing and fuels conglomerate Copec. The disbursement took place on August 31.
