Bruchou and Marval, O'Farrell advise on sale of Providian Financial

Providian Financial, the San Francisco-based credit card provider, is packing its bags less than two years after setting up in Argentina. The firm has agreed to sell its affiliate in the country, Providian Financial SA, to a group of local investors. The amount paid has not been disclosed. Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani acted for the buyers; Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal represented Providian.
