About Latin Lawyer Insight

Latin Lawyer Insight partners with leading lawyers, legal advisors, policymakers and in-house counsel to provide more in-depth perspectives on the topics we cover in our news, events and surveys.

Latin Lawyer Insight is organised into two series

Reference

Latin Lawyer Reference provides answers to key legal and regulatory questions in Latin America on major practice areas. Leading practitioners and local counsel provide insight in over twenty practice areas, across the region. The interactive format allows for quick-and-easy comparisons across jurisdictions.

Guides

Guides give in-depth expert analysis on particular legal issues facing Latin America. They are written by the leading experts in the field, collated by GCR, and edited by leading figures.

All of Latin Lawyer Insight is free-to-view (no subscription is required) which helps it get the maximum exposure. The content is also promoted via Latin Lawyer’s daily news briefing and alongside related news content.

It is also shared with delegates at our Latin Lawyer Live events and other conferences worldwide. Finally, we help contributors share the content with their own professional peers, with chapter PDFs and hard copies where relevant.

There is, as a rule, an annual stipend. Across Latin Lawyer Insight we work with over 700 authors at 190+ firms worldwide, selected for their experience in Latin America...

How to become a contributor - general process notes

  • 1

Our publishers will work with you on selecting the topic and provide you with clear guidelines on how to write the chapter.

  • 2

The format and scope of articles will depend on the topic and publication: Guides, for example, have prose articles, whereas Reference chapters are based on a bespoke questionnaire.

  • 3

Each chapter is accompanied by the contact details of the contributing firm and authors to encourage dialogue between authors, co-authors and readers.

  • 4

Once the agreement is in place, we hand over to our dedicated Production team, which handles the entire publishing process to make sure our resources are high quality and on time. They provide guidelines for your chapter, answer queries during drafting, and coordinate submission, sub-editing and approval. Contributors always have sign-off over what is published.

  • If this sounds like a good fit and you would like to become one of our authors, please fill out the form and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
