Thomas Hechl is of counsel at Hogan Lovells’ Washington DC office. Thomas leads teams on complex emerging markets project finance, private equity, direct lending and restructuring transactions, many involving development lenders. He has 25 years of experience in renewable energy, transport, water, oil and gas, and healthcare projects all around the world, with an emphasis on Latin America, including many that received deal awards. Since serving as counsel at the International Finance Corporation earlier in his career, Thomas has developed a passion for development projects.
