Thiago Dias Costa is a partner fully dedicated to bankruptcy. He specialises in debt restructuring, judicial reorganisation and bankruptcy, in both consulting and litigation. In judicial reorganisation, pre-packaged reorganisation and bankruptcy proceedings, he represents the interests of debtors, creditors or potential investors interested in acquiring distressed assets. He is vice president of the Commission of Bankruptcy and Reorganisation of the São Paulo Bar Association (Tatuapé) and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association in Brazil, INSOL International and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He published a book on bankruptcy law in 2018 and is the author of several articles on the subject. He earned his LLB from the University of São Paulo (USP), an LLM in corporate law from CEU-IICS Law School, an MSc in commercial law from USP, was a visiting scholar at the Business Law Academy of Columbia University in 2017 and is currently pursuing a PhD in commercial law from USP.
